Welcome to ETB Newmarket's first Competitive REL Warhammer 40,000 event.
This will be a 3-4 round event starting in September and ending in October.
We will be following the ITC competitive rules, adjusted for a league format. 2000pt Army lists.
Any models and rules updates released after August 30th will not be allowed. All lists and rules must be used as submitted during the start of the league. Rules changes and points updates will not count.
There is no painting requirement. 3D printed models and proxies are allowed by the TO's discretion. All 3D prints and proxies must be approved by the tournament organizer.
Guidelines to follow for proxies:
Base sizes must be the correct base size for the model they represent.
Height and silhouette should match.
Special weapons/characters should be unique and obvious.
Players must register and pay a week before the event august 30th. There will be no refunds after the deadline.
Army Lists must be submitted by 8:00pm August 30th.
Late registration/payment/list submission is up to TO discretion for extraordinary circumstances.
There will be a private discord channel made for players to co-ordinate. players will be invited once they have registered and paid for the event.
Terrain layouts for each round will be posted in the discord prior to each match
Each round will last two weeks. It is up to players to co-ordinate matches. any issues regarding scheduling must be brought to the TO as soon as possible. Failure to attempt to attend matches will result in a game loss/DQ. Players must submit match results via BCP before the round deadline every two weeks on Sunday at 8:00pm. Failure to submit match results before the deadline will result in a game loss, DQ if it happens twice.
Matches are unsupervised. Players are required to play in good faith, and know their rules. The TO may be available to settle disputes on the discord, but not always. Bring any large issues to the TO as soon as possible. there will not be a strict time limit, but matches must be played quickly. If a match is still going and the store closes, the match ends immediately.
Players may only edit their lists if they lose a match. lists will be locked again once the next match is posted.
Store credit prizing to be awarded for top 3 - top 4 if 16 or more players sign up + other prizes for players who play all their matches.
